William Dennisuk
| My work is primarily concerned with the imaginative potential of the public space. I define this space as being both urban and rural, both interior and exterior. What these spaces have in common is that they are all apart of our shared environment. I see the public realm as an arena that can embody more than purely commercial or practical concerns- it can also be a space that refelcts our aesthetic, intellectual, and spiritual aspirations. How we give form to these "other" aspirations, how we integrate these somewhat negelected dimensions of our being back into the public realm- back into our decision making process - is what interests me. | ||||||||||
